Its a silly wish/thought but it would be awesome to have like a kiddy room for online games and a 17+ one. I do miss the good old days of CoD being a underground hit and all the annoying kids were playing halo. Now halo is played out and the kids have been dropped off into the once great CoD gaming community. Oh well .. back to reality and use of the mute button on PS3 and Xbox live.

I had a fun match during which a little kid kept screaming racial slurs into my ear for an entire match in MW2, so me an a group of 4 of my friends started trolling him, trapping him in corners with riot shields, pushing him off of ledges, and things like that.

After a while the kid started crying, and called his mom, and started telling her about how we were bullying him. She got on the mic and started telling us off. We patiently allowed her to finish, and then told her some of the things her little brat had been screaming at us not 10 minutes prior. She didn't believe us, but a friend of mine had been recording all of our matches, and put up one of the matches on youtube (the one which had the little kid screaming at us), so we sent her the URL as proof.

Five minutes later the mom came back, took the mic away from her son (who had been quiet for the first time in half an hour), and apologized to us for her son's behavior, and with violent anger in her voice, told us that she would make sure that he never used that kind of language again.

That was a pretty good day.
May I say, BRAVO! If I had the chance I would truly like to shake your hand and the hands of your friends.

Me and an old college buddy get on Live to play MW2 to remember the good times. Well one night there was this kid that was gloating his ass off about how he almost had a nuke. So being the "I dont give a f***" people me and my friend were we began to heckle the kid. This went on for about three matches and eventually we got the kid on our team. So he starts complaining about how we was so mean to him and how he was gonna kill himself. Now we both had heard similar threats and just kept either "no balls" just do it" and "puss" needless to say he eventually rage quitted because we wouldnt leave him alone ie team killing him(BTW the playlist was Hardcore TDM). After he left my friend and I had a good laugh and eventually won our game by ourselves.

Ran into a few myself, but they're so fun. There is nothing funnier than making a young child rage on a video game.
I literally had a kid throw a tantrum one day because my friends and I kept picking on him, it was lawl-worthy.

I seem to only run into these youngin's on the new popular games, like MW2. I surprisingly have not run into ONE underaged kid on Halo:Reach yet.

I haven't heard a squeaky voice since I quit MW2 actually...
It's weird, right?

I was expecting a horrible time on Reach but it's all been quite good. I suppose putting Polite in my game filter options has had an impact?

i've had plenty of lil kids grief me for being a n00b everytime i start playing a new cod. but there was one lil kid that kept spewing n-words (the way black people use it) and going on about how he's raping me and how i should just quit, i'm black but not ghetto and i can't stand ghetto ppl, so i tell him to stop wasting his mom's welfare check on xbox live and go get a job. he just got quiet for the rest of the match and ended up in the bottom spot for his team

Actually, while a lot of the under 13s I meet on Live are annoying, I meet 3 times as many 15 year old ass holes who throw a ***** fit that I took the sniper rifle first.

I've had a bunch of kids yell at me for even playing Halo, telling me to stop because I was a girl. Likewise, if they don't yell at me, I get conversations like this:

"Hey-hey girl."
"Yes?"
"Are you a lesbian?"
"No..."
"Then why are you playing Halo?"
"Because it's fun."
"Straight girls don't play games. You must be a lesbian"

I mute and no longer wear a headset so I don't have to deal with this, but I really wish I could without knowing I was going to be berated because I'm not a guy.
those must be stupid little kids, every young man knows when you find a female gamer you treat her nicely and then flirt shamelessly.

So you heckle and team kill a guy because he was excited he almost got a nuke? Sounds like you and your friend are the assholes there. If he almost had a nuke, that means he had a 20+ kill streak with zero deaths, obviously helping your team tremendously.

Sorry I forgot to mention that he was being a dick about i. There have been times where I was just a few short of a nuke but for whatever reason I didnt get it. The problem was that in the lobby he was bragging about how much better he was than everyone else just because he got 24 kills in a row. And I dont mean like a casual bragging he called all of the other players who were of higher rank than him all kinds of other BS and my friend and I just dont take kindly to that. Sorry about lack of info. Oh also from that point on he had negative K/Ds

UNfortunately, i only play pc :p, but hearing some of the hilarious, err, "arguments" with little kids on Live from my friends, im wondering if anyone else on the escapist has funny stories that involve 12 year old adolescence saying how they had sex with your mom last night [or something along those lines].

It actually can be anything from said above to you and the kid AGREEING on something, and possibly arguing with someone else.
I met a troll when i used to play wolfenstein enemy territory, the father to most of your fps games, i remember that he was shout obscenities at me because i would guess where his head would pop up nearly every time and cap him with sniper bullets before he could think of getting near me. It got to a point where he simply rage quit crying

I avoid this problem quickly and easily with the Mute button.

Also, I rarely if ever meet people like this. It's actually a lot fewer people than you think. It's just that people tend to complain a lot about nothing.

Here's a good example:

I think this applies to retards on Live more than little kids though.

unfortunately, i use psn. god, i would love to have my sexuality questioned by whiny high-pitched voices MUCH MORE than the soul-crushing silence of psn.

Well if you have ever met a young wrestling fan who has truly never grasp the concept pro wrestling is mostly fake then you'll understand my next story.

I was playing Smackdown vs. Raw 2009 on XBOX Live and I chose to be the wrestler C.M. Punk who is a bad guy. I've been watching this guy wrestle for years before he was in WWE and I've met him so he is one of my favorite.

Ok enough back story. I put my mic in and in comes some 10 year old. He got the stereotypical high pitched voice and he says the my guy is a "fagot" and he is going to "kick my ass". Now this is all high pitched like Alvin and the Chipmunks said it, so I couldn't help but laugh.

Now he is pissed I'm laughing at him so all these insults, homophobic and against my mother keep coming. Now remember all I did was pick a bad guy and laugh when he said "fagot". This is on par to picking Bowser in Super Smash Bros. I'm terribly sorry hearing young children swearing is funny to me.

So match starts and I beat him in two minutes. Send him a message that states: "Whose the fagot now?"

Never heard from him again. That's about the only experience I can think of.

I have only one occasion that this happened to me on xbox live. Me and my friend were playing some Gears of War 2 Horde, when we were joined by 3 kids no older than 8. They were arguing about who had the best mom. That argument made me and my friend laugh are asses off for 10 minutes. Then they quit.

Only awesome thing I had and the second time I've ever had an annoying 10yo on Xbox live was when I was playing Reach Beta. I had a gravity hammer and was chasing the kid across the map and the entire time he was screaming on mic yelling "No NO NONO NON NO NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO-*Hammer connects with his face*!!!!

Me and my brother could not stop laughing it was just so awesome.
