I was playing my old xbox when i found myself thinking about underrated games.I'm aware this topic has been done to death but what underrated games would you recommend? particularly for the old xbox.
a bunch of underrated games i recommended are
Condemned criminal origins (xbox 360 I know)
jade empire
call of Cthulu Dark Corners of the Earth (I'm aware i most likely spelled Cthulu wrong)

Phantom Dust, Panzer Dragoon Orta, Xyanide; all Xbox games.

I've yet to meet another person who's ever played Xyanide.

Metal Arms: Glitch in the system and Mercenaries 2, not because it was unknown but because it was genuinely underrated. It was chock full of glitches and problems, but very few games have been as fun.

Legend of the Dragoon (seriously, it needs to be put up on PSN), The Darkness (imagine Bioshock, but with demons instead of superpowered slugs), FFIX (people need to get over the cartoonish graphics. It had one of the best plots of the 3D games in the series, with MOST every character having dark twists in their rather compelling stories), and Star Wars: Republic Commando (a darker twist on the star wars universe that focused instead on an elite squad of commandos. Character designs were changed from the movies and such to make the game feel much more sinister. One of the few really good Star Wars games I've played)

Doom3 isnt highly regarded with a lot of gamers, it was overshadowed by halflife 2 and the stolen alpha from e3 didnt help as most people avoided it because they assumed you needed some beast PC to get half a dozen frames a second. Most people didnt like that Doom3 was not doom it was some survival horror type of game

Shadow Hearts and Shadow hearts: Covenant.

They were some the the coolest Rpgs that took some amount of skill to master the judgment ring. The storylines in both are ridiculously awesome and a big step in rpg territory (First time i saw a guy gets his head popped in an rpg)

Covenant was the best for me. Huge storyline, Interesting characters that meshed together very well. There were a bunch of characters but all of them interacted with each other. No one in the rag tag party were strangers to one another. A feeling of friendship among your circus of freaks was predominate and awesome. Such a well told story.

... Then From A New World blew so hard it would make a woman in Bangkok blush. Lets not talk about that one.

Megaman Battle Network 3
Super Robot Taisen OG Saga: Endless Frontier
Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga
Metroid Prime: Hunters
Dragon Warrior Monsters
MegamanX: Command Mission

just a few 9i think are underrated.

it was basically doom with better graphics,no music, and log collecting.

one i love log collecting.

and two if you turned off the music doom/2/final, 3 could easily be faster paced than the originals (after all, it was only fast paced cause blood pumping music.)

i get annoyed by when people dislike stuff i like.
