Underground/obscure bands

I'm starting this thread as a way to share and get to know independent, underground, obscure, unsigned, underrated or not-very-well-known bands from accross the globe. Particularly, I'm anxious to listen to music from the country or city in which you live, or were born.
I'll get started with an Argentine band called Tengwar, in which some of my friends play.


And another one called La Portuaria, simply because it uses one of Argentina's most iconic instruments, the bandoneon (a type of concertina)

Lightning bolt. Kind of gaining popularity but it is still underground since it is noise rock.

Torche is pretty cool, and not alot of people have heard of them for some reason.

Kitty Hudson, A underground band from around London. I don't know what to classify them as.
The main guitarist is a good guy and their shows are always awesome.

Not sure if these bands can be considered obscure since they both get pretty heavy radio and MTV airplay.
