In your own opinion, who do you believe to be some of the worlds most underrated badasses of all time? Fiction or non-fiction people. Your choice.

My choice is the Johnny kid from the song 'The Devil Went Down to Georgia' by the Charlie Daniels Band. It takes some major brass balls to even accept a challenge with the Devil. But this kid goes and beats the Devil at his own damn game, then goes and calls him a son of a ***** right before he leaves! Most badasses need an axe, or giant gun, or some mystical orb to be considered badass. All this kid needs is the right opponent and a quirky comeback! That is how you define badass!

Roddy Piper... He's so badass that Duke Nukem stole his one liners...

Just when they think they know the answers, he changes the questions.

That Johnny kid only won because a violin made out of solid gold would sound awful.
And why did the Devil mark himself down? He was the sole judge!
Devil said:
Well, OK that was pretty good, but I'll throw it over to the judges.
Devil (in different voices) said:
"The Devil"
"I'll vote for the Devil."
"Sorry, but I'll agree. The Devil"
Devil said:
Ooh, tough luck kid. Oh well, rules are rules. *YOINK*

My goldfish, Helen, for being over a year and a half old which is impressive considering she was a whole 23 cents at Walmart.

Short Round from Indiana Jones was also pretty damn awesome.

Jacuzzi Splot from Baccano is a very underrated badass because he seems like a coward, but he actually becomes even more of a badass the more scared he was.

Read it. [http://www.badassoftheweek.com/hayha.html]

That's a certified badass right there. He's not nearly famous enough.

Big Daddy from Kick Ass. (The movie, not the comic.)

You don't get much more badass than that.

Ronald Speirs.

This would be badass enough if it was just from a show. But what makes it more bad-ass is that it actually happened. Confirmed in multiple reports. Even though it's been said that the guy was insane and deserved to be court martialed, you cannot deny that he was a badass. An crazy kind of badass that probably would have been a serial killer or something if not for the army... but a badass, nonetheless

I have two, both from Final Fantasy. Everyone talks about how cool Cloud and Squall are, but you know whos awesome, Tellah from FF4 and Basch from FF12.

Tellah has the balls to cast Meteo, the ultimate lost spell, In an act of vengeance, against a monstrous dwarven knight.

Basch is just plain kickass, and I will summarise that with BASCH LIVES!!

special mention - Hoss T. Larrity from Code Monkeys, why, he fights ninjas with a four barreled shotgun.
