So...after watching MLP, you actively went out to search for shock-and-gore fanfics?...

...

...I can't be the only one that's slightly disturbed by this, right?

Also, I REALLY don't care about what fanfiction you have read. I also don't think many other people care either.

I'm not sure he actively sought them out. At least the way I read it he went out in search of MLP fanfiction in general, and cupcakes just happened to be the first one he read. It's less of a stretch than it sounds, actually. Cupcakes is one of the most [in]famous fics of this particular category and thus has a LOT of hits in searches (try typing in "MLP fanfic" in google. By the time you hit the "a" key, the second suggestion from google is "MLP fanfic cupcakes"). I'm guessing that the other shock-and-gore fics he mentioned came later, interspersed by more lighthearted ones, which explains why he wasn't turned off entirely by what he identified as something that started as a 'horrible idea'.

Well, you know how the internet goes, you cant avoid such things forever and curiosity can get the better of you.
