Today I woke up and felt like shit.
If you don't know why, go to my thread "Where loyalties end"
http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/18.302336-Where-loyalties-end

So I texted my friend madeline, who is related to the guy in the topic where loyalties end. She is a really nice person, and usually can help me when I feel depresed.

So I told her he was being a dick, and we had a normal "I'm depressed" conversation. Until...

I said that I would give anything to talk to this girl I like, and give myself some peace of mind.

Then she said "If you could talk to hannah right now, what would you say"
After that- I got a message...

On the last day of my freshman schoolyear, I tried to get her cellphone number, and failed.

But back to the story, I got a message, saying "Hey! It's Hannah." I froze.

I just texted my friend and said what... and then went to talking to her.
So I went from being uber depressed to super happy in a day. This has never really happened before. I don't get happy very easily, and this girl I like makes me really happy... and she told me she just got dumped... AMERICA FUCK YEAH! This gay named Kevin has been dating her, and he is the cause of my dispute with my friend in my other thread.

I am happier than ever right now, and I'm not sure what to do! I FEEL AWESOME! I WANT TO HUG A GUY WHO LIVES IN A VAN DOWN BY THE RIVER!

So forum, how do you feel right now, and explain to me how I can get my head streight again!

I LOVE THE WORLD.

Alright, so do you guys think it would be a good Idea to ask her to go see a movie or get some lunch, as friends, like hang out y'know in a few days?

I would say Undeniable* because I'm a prick. I'd also say it will wear off, 4/5 marriages end in divorce, and love isn't real. You know, because of the "I'm a prick" thing.
But, gz I suppose.
Edit: 50% of marriages, my bad guys, you can stop calling BS on me now.

i thought it was fifty percent, and that came from the douche tards in this world...

And I have liked her longer than any other girl before.

But hell, if attempting to put people down makes you happy, I respect that

I'm really happy for you, bro! There's nothing better than having your faith in life restored by the biggest pick-me-up ever

I, myself, haven't been in a relationship for 9 months right now, which is a huge dry spell, and recently I just got turned down by a girl I've liked for a loooong time and I feel... great!
My solution? Music! I've been buying album after album and just drowning myself in punk and metal music and I feel great!

My ethics teacher said it was 4/5, and I've never been inclined to check. Probably different answers because of our different countries.
And I don't try and bring everyone down. I bring people down if they're happy, possibly bring them up with they're sad and I care enough to try, until we're all in that happy indifferent neutral ground. Okay, maybe a bit lower than neutral, but close enough. And I've seen enough people, IRL and on the interblag, jumping in joy over some girl they've finally gotten, and enough stories of people breaking up and crying about it, and only 1 couple remaining together in my (highly limited) IRL experience at my sixth-form. So this is just another *I was really sad and then I got the girl I liked for ages and now I'm the happiest bunny on the planet and life is beautiful* story to me. Hey, you *did* ask me how I felt about it.

To what you've added, for what it's worth, yes. The longer you leave it, the harder it gets, in my afore-mentioned limited and non-personal experience. *Sees Karma glaring at me* Oh, and good luck with it.

Um, go ask her out for lunch. Take it slow and listen to what she says.

I feel happy because I'm finally getting good at TF2 to the point I'm a goshdamn killer as an Pyro and Medic.

That makes me feel happy.

I'm not sure what makes me overly happy, sometimes it's just listening to other peoples happy stories.

I have finally had my uni confirm my place on the course and on campus housing, so I feel absolutely...

Terrified.

On the plus side, I've been playing earth defence force insect Armageddon and I just made an ugly ass ant queen eat it's own ASS! yeah!

Your situation. I honestly don't know. Why don't you ask her what she wants to-oh wait, of course, saying something in completely Frank, clear decoded format is strictly forbidden in human dating! Sorry.

Seriously though, I don't know much about dating but I guess...try to think what she would really like? Something that would prove you know her really well.

I think.

Idk, I've always found that kind of attitude somewhat selfish. I mean, you're happy that something bad just happened to her because it gives you a chance with her, no?

This gay named Kevin has been dating her, and he is the cause of my dispute with my friend in my other thread.
And I find that typo amusing. A gay names Kevin going out with a girl? ;D
Well, I'm exactly happy about how she feels, I mean, the guy was a jerk to a lot of people, but she still liked him... DON'T MAKE ME FEEL GUILTY! XD

I now noticed that typo, thank God you realised it was a typo... XD

I'm pretty sure it's 50%, not 4/5. And I would also say Undeniable*.

OP: Roll with it dude. Don't question it, enjoy it while you have it.

1) Yes as someone has already said its nearer 50%
2) So 50% end in divorce. But the other 50% end in death.

3) Give this person a cookie. Now. Seriously it's people like her who really really matter and deserve the love. Think about it.

I don't really understand this thread but congratulations anyway! I am happy for you, guy! :D

Right now, I'm feeling tired and slightly impatient with my deliriously sleep-deprived friend who refuses to go to bed and is now declaring how good a friend I am. I think she may be drunk, or depressed, or both.
