no game should have a new sequel EVERY YEAR, so Madden 10, Guitar Hero 5, Rockband Beatles, et. al.
That is good practical advice (and something I have said before on numerous occasions) but you can't deny the thereputic properties of being able to ***** about something while making a perfectly valid point at the same time (one of the many reasons many people actually go onto forums).S-Unleashed said:This thread. I see way too many of these. Look if you don't like them don't buy or care instend of whinning about it. Jeez.
Actually, the Lego music game is Rock Band's doing, but I admit I thoroughly found Rock Band 2 a huge improvement over the first, and the Beatles has a huge core fanbase, unlike Aerosmith. Damn Red Octane..StarWolf180 said:StarWolf180:

I'm willing to accept the third one, but everything beyond that was a comlpete disappiontment.badgersprite said:Pretty much anything after the first two Spyro games.
If it was DLC, you'd have to install a whole new AI director, 2 or so gbs or textures, whole maps, character models, etc. In my opinion, if I play a small game like L4D more than a full-length FPS for the same price, then I think it deserves that price tag more.Versago said:I'm willing to accept the third one, but everything beyond that was a comlpete disappiontment.badgersprite said:Pretty much anything after the first two Spyro games.
Breath of Fire: Dragon Quarter was an evilly shitty addition to the shiny golden series that i loved.
Couldn't L4D2 just be DLC?
I know this be heresy in some parts, but I actually enjoyed Adventure 1 and 2.PrinceoN said:Anything after Sonic 3 & Knuckles.
Very well, you've swayed me there.Primee133 said:If it was DLC, you'd have to install a whole new AI director, 2 or so gbs or textures, whole maps, character models, etc. In my opinion, if I play a small game like L4D more than a full-length FPS for the same price, then I think it deserves that price tag more.
Indeed. And to add to my earlier mention, DLC of that magnitude would be way too costly. It'd end up being somewhere around like 2800 points on Xbox Live or more.Versago said:Very well, you've swayed me there.Primee133 said:If it was DLC, you'd have to install a whole new AI director, 2 or so gbs or textures, whole maps, character models, etc. In my opinion, if I play a small game like L4D more than a full-length FPS for the same price, then I think it deserves that price tag more.
L4D2 hopes to improve the already good L4D and so makes a good choice for sequalisation.
...but i still hate how BoF: Dragon Quarter is such a pustule on an otherwise beautiful franchise.
Breath of Fire IV was one of my favorite RPGs ever, DQ was...ugh. Shame, I'd love IV type game on PS3.Versago said:Breath of Fire: Dragon Quarter was an evilly shitty addition to the shiny golden series that i loved.
Nowadays it's like if Nintendo took over EA Sports.Pulse Reality said:Mario. I'm so tired of seeing Nintendo by making something gimmicky and repackaging Mario games with him doing some other sport.
