I need some unique shooter for PC, that stands above the crowd. It can be well-known or badly know at all. I already half-life, STALKER, team fortress 2 and left 4 dead and counter-strike and call of duty 5. I got into FPS gaming only half a year ago so I need unique fresh game to continue playing FPSs.

Halo: Combat Evolved is fairly different than those, I wouldn't go so far to call it unique but it's still a fun PC shooter (though I personally prefer the Xbox version).

You could go retro and try System Shock 2.
F.E.A.R. is a game you could look into also.

Try out Battlefield Heroes [http://www.battlefieldheroes.com/]. It's free to play and a fun little 3[small]rd[/small] person shooter.

Sorry but I hated that "shooter". no replay value for it. Thanks for suggestion though.

I hear Deus Ex is very unique but since I borrowed it from a friend who forgot that the disc wasn't in the box he gave me, I haven't been able to actually play it.

System Shock 2

SWAT 4

Operation Flashpoint.

Battlefield 2 or 1942
They're all quite old but all very different to what you've listed. I can't remember if it came out on PC, but Armed and Dangerous is a laugh.

Deus Ex is really cool, as it mixes shooter with RPG. Great story too. Far Cry is fun as well (at least the first half is). It still looks great nowadays and the outdoor parts are huge.

Is "Stranger's Wrath" available on PC? Great unique mix between first and third person, as well as ludicrous types of weapons that put's Bioshock's "bee hands" to shame.

Seriously, halo? That's the shooter you are going to recommend for the PC? Sure halo was great by xbox standards but as far as PC fps's go it's the most cut and paste generic shooter imaginable. If you're going to suggest an old game at least pick something amazing like deus ex.

(lol i hadn't read the other posts)

Unique... Probably wouldn't go with FEAR, Prey,

Single Player:
System Shock 2 if you don't mind playing old games, if not Bioshocks a simpler but nicer looking version.

Portal is very unique, but not any shooting, alot of first person though...

Only the first Dues Ex is any good, the second is quite generic.

Multiplayer from what you haven't got the only popular thing is the Battlefield series.
Or Unreal Tournament.

Could try Quake live [http://www.quakelive.com]. Fast paced old school twitch FPS.
