My internet has recently been upgraded so online gaming is now a possibility for me, my friends recommended a headset for gaming, and my WPM is about 22 so typing and playing is impracticable for me.

But hear is my problem, I have a 360 and PS3 and in browsing at there websites, seems to me that ill be paying 40-60 dollars each for a headset witch I don't have that kinda money.
Is it possible to get a headset made by a third party that will work for both consoles well and is reasonably priced.

I have a Bluetooth headset I use for my PS3, and it's just a phone headset, works fine. If the 360 supports Bluetooth, get one of those, if not, maybe a USB? wait... does the 360 support USB microphones? I don't have a 360, but if you will be doing any PC gaming get a USB, since most computers don't have built in Bluetooth
