i have a confirmed unconditional place at kent university, but have been offered a chance to go to do the same course at southampton (which is better). Kent is a good university, but not as good, and I would get uni accommodation on campus. Southampton is better but I would need to rent in the private sector which is pretty much worse I think.

Also, kent is in canterbury, which is a very nice place.

Which do you escapists, speaking from any experience you may have had, think I should take? Better uni or better accommodation?

And I am aware that going to southampton depends on kent releasing me.

I'd say consider it based on if you'd be able to realistically afford your own accommodations. If it's the same course anyway, that seems like the only major difference. You'd save money with the one that is provided for you, but you sound like you'd be happier at the one you have to pay for your own.

Depends if you would prefer a city university or a campus university.

Generally speaking, campus universities are safer, more convenient in terms of services, and easier to find one's way around, some may say there is also more of a "community feel." City university's are bigger, more exiting, and i expect a bit more challenging to settle into- but since i don't go to a city uni, i carn't honestly give a brilliant comparison between the two.

Better uni. Companies you apply to always look at what uni you went to, even if it costs you more I'd definitely advise going for the better uni.
