That's nothing compared to this paint gun sentry turret (also Portal related) which can actually turn and track moving targets with crazed accuracy: EDIT: damn. Ninja'd. see same video above.

Well, okay, from what we can see, the Do-It-Yourself Nerf Sentry Turret has more in common with the Portal guns than it does the Engineer's weaponry - it's immobile, only fires in one direction, and even shares their oddly-adorable voices. Even so, it's still awesome.

Yeah I'd change the title to something Portal related, as it's indeed a Portal turret and nothing like the Engineer's.

Doesn't make this any less awesome though. I want to tip it over though...

That paintball auto-targeting turret is scary. Imagine going to a nice match of paintball, and suddenly..

OHSHIT WHO'S SHOOTING US?! WTF WTH MAN I CAN'T SEE!

And you can't really distract it, as it apparently detects which thing is the most animate in the range..

My cousin and I are currently working on one of these our selves, we are using an airsoft SMG, controlled by 2 servo motors and a solenoid. It uses a webcam to aim right now, but we are working on using 2 for distance calcs. It is going to be cool!
