What kind of person makes a joke about a.) someone's son being killed and b.) the death of any soldier in Iraq?

Maybe I should buy a Trilby and say the whole thing in 10 seconds or less... maybe you'll be reminded that you have a sense of humor inside you, lest you be caught dead on a website and forum like this.

maybe you are an ass who can't admit that making a joke about someone's family member dying is just in poor taste or for that matter anyone dying in war. Your post was less about "educating those who know little about Memorial Day" and more about trying to crack wise in poor taste about a dude's SON.
You can try to play it off all you want. It was a stupid joke and you know it.
Google can teach those people about the real meaning of memorial day. But it will never teach you how to be not to be a jerk.
