Needless to say, I was not disappointed. I lost it at "a guy with no name said nothing". Also, Edge sounds like a fun party guy and totally not like a brooding oh who am I kidding. Male JRPG protagonists come in two flavors: Cloud and Sora. Even his name is "edgy" and dark and brooding.

Good gravy, a whole lot of nothing happened there! No wonder I don't play JRPG's. Is there some correlation between nonsensical game names and overly long opening cutscenes? Really guys, thank you for so many great jokes at this game's expense.

Also, I'm thinking about the artists who had gone through all this effort to draw and program this intro.. only for the "story"-department to add "???" and "....".

Funny thing; I thought you were actually reviewing Atelier Meruru because I forgot the name at the time and I thought your PS2 talk was riffing at the game's primitive graphics (let's face it; you could run Atelier Totori on the PS2). It wasn't until the last part of the video when I realised that this wasn't actually Atelier Meruru at all; just another Atelier game with graphics so shoddy for its generation that it could be run on the previous one.
