We were planning on having a big text scroll with an overly dramatic narrator, but Zero violently murdered him.

Because regular spiders aren't creepy enough, we made them bigger and asymmetrical! The sheer anatomical wrongness alone is horrifying!

Great video, guys, but I think it would have been better with captions on so we could understand what the lady with the faux-Russian accent was saying. I thought I heard her say Templars-
OH MY GOD, TEMPLARS! What do they have to do with what happened?!

You know, I'm not sure that showing her was actually easier; they still had to say what it was, and what it was doing; adding the sentence "It's a big green light with some floating rocks" doesn't seem that complicated.

I thought it was hilarious when at one point, deep in a giant spider infested cave, Dorian goes on a little pouty rant about there never being any caves with just normal sized spiders.

You know I would have the same reaction if I ever saw such huge spiders. I would be like , nope, nope, nope, nope, and getting out of there any way able. And a huge rift in the sky spewing demons? That got nothing on giant asymmetrical spiders.

If I lived in a world with Spiders like that I wouldn't get out of bed, ever.

But I don't live in Australia, so I'm good.

If you had to use that accent every time you spoke, you might adopt a "show, don't tell" policy too.

Giant spiders? Pffft, only a pansy would be afraid of giant spiders.

Now giant bats, on the other hand...

Nobody expects the lenient inquisition! On the other hand, everybody expects the Monty Python references though.

"...the left hand I have some problems with sometimes"
"It's a little... sinister?"

That was an incredibly subtle wordplay and I applaud you guys for it.

I hear the draw distances in Loud Hill are awesome. Like, they had to come up with a whole new engine, because the air was so clear and you could just see so damn far.

Loud Valley, surely?

And to be fair, they're not actually the Inquisition yet when they do the questioning. But it's still a little surprising how quickly everyone goes from "we all hate your guts and you will be executed after the trial" to "hey, it's the main character, let's do everything they say and let them rule the world". Sure, the green particle effects mean you're the only one who can close the rifts, but it's still a stretch to go from that to being in charge.

Still a fun game though. Apart from the giant spiders.
