Having still not played this game, just that plot point of the girl putting the headband on Monkey is pretty dumb. I mean, I can totally see it happening this way, instead: She breaks out, guard robots show up. She sees Monkey in his pod, begs him to help her in exchange of escaping.

There. No slave-doohickeys or anything. Just reason.

That may have worked today, but consider she isn't very old, and has probably been taught not to trust other humans(outside of her village or whatever). Then there is a certain amount of logic.
Though, to be honest, if I broke out of jail and came across another convict who was from the city, the thought to use a slaveband might cross my mind. I would still ask nicely first, while holding a really big club.

Giving ice cream headaches is not nice. Something one hopes she learns through the story.

Good episode. Though I found myself trying really hard to listen to the cutscene more than the commentary. You see; I picked up Enslaved a week ago and finished it 2 days ago, and I think that it has the best voice acting, motion capture, faces and story/script I have ever played in a videogame.

Whilst the gameplay is merely good and it's very on the short side, it's genuinely one of my favorite games of last year. And I shed tears at the ending, no joke. Any story based game in the future that doesn't feature Enslaved's level of story telling should just turn around and leave before they embarress themselves.

Hmm, this the 1st time I'm going to disagree with these guys at unskipable but , that wasn't an altogether bad cut-scene. I mean yeah the character design is horrible, the escape was laughable. but it did have some redeeming qualities. the voice acting looks great, the characters have ample motivation to act the way they do; she has no reason to trust him, and well, now neither does. It seems like the story could be great.
Regardless the episode was hilarious.

let me redact a little there, I just check out the review of the game, and the game looks gorgeous!
finally a post apocalyptic world that isn't just brown and gray, but is full of vibrant colors and a pleasure to gaze at. the look of the characters, though not realistic, is pretty and captivating.
so yeah that's that.
guess the guys have recycle the chick from heavenly sword and give her (a much needed) haircut

They stopped doing only bad games a LONG time ago. They basically do any game they can get a good unskippable out of.
