I'm pretty sure it's there response to the "try transmitting across all channels" bit.
That's something the captain asks his communications officer alot in Star Trek, as is deverting all power to the shields.

Another great video. That whole mug thing was crazy; it makes no sense for them to have that kind of shot for that long in a cut scene. I guess the mug was important because it was filled with some special vampire killing liquid, or maybe the mug was really a vampire.

Beat that cold, the fans need you well.

Bonus points for the Dalek reference, although they have blue vision.

Awesome episode, though.

I'll be the Doctor Who nerd to point it out. I think the whole reference to the Daleks wasn't about their blue vision, it was about how when someone is hit by a Dalek energy weapon, you will see a bright flashing of blue and green.
