Well, he is new, so he might not understand what a huge deal TF2 is on this site.

For me, I'd have to say MediEvil was basically one of the greatest PS1 titles ever, and yet, it gets very little respect. Even its incredible remake on the PSP was ignored. Either way, it's still one of my favorites.
I actually have the PSP version right next to me - haven't played it in years though. I had the 2nd MediEvil game on PSOne and it was brilliant. I feel bad that I forgot about those games...
Don't the games have such a nice mix of gothic horror and subtle humor? They're still some of my favorites to this day.

And Nintendogs. I'm not kidding. I got it and it's awesome.
Seriously. Survival Crisis Z. Won't cost you a penny. I play it all the time. Freakin' awesome.

It's true, they had such a brilliant sense of style. Almost like if Tim Burton made a few secret video games in between Edward Scissorhands and Nightmare Before Christmas.

I can't remember the 1st game too well, other than that first mission with the massive rocks rolling down the hill, but the 2nd game had so many brilliant levels. The circus with the robot elephants, the museum, Greenwich Observatory and Whitechapel during Jack The Ripper's murders.

Too bad Fortesque fell by the wayside. He could have been one of Sony's greatest mascots. At least he had a good run at it.

Zone of the Enders. I've never really heard anyone talk about it. I loved it.
I remember that. I enjoyed it when I played it the first time, but I tried it the other day and... well... it's more than a little provocative.

I've yet to meet another person(in person) who has played the original dark cloud. I loved that game. Psychonauts was pretty awesome too, but it really isn't that unsung anymore.

Ico- by the same people who made Shadow of the Collassus(sp?). Very fun game and interesting concept.
Okami- one of the most beautiful games I have ever had the pleasure of playing. Inovative, funny, and just incredibly fun to play, it is a game I swear by.

Trace Memory for the DS. It was released early in the DS's life (Maybe even a launch title.)
It was a fantastic game but never once have I heard someone mention it.

Esentialy, It was a combination of Myst and...And...GAAAAA-"boooooop"

"boooooop"-in a disposable waste-paper basket. A sequel has been announced in Japan but no news of a US release.

So many great ones ive seen here i cant even begin to repeat all of them. I swear by Chrono Trigger. One of the best classic rpg's. Kind of got ruled out by Final Fantasy though.

Dunno how popular this game is, but it is probably my favorite game of all time: Baldur's Gate 2. It's essentially a cross between Oblivion and the Fallout series (actually the original Fallout games were made by the same developer, Bioware). I've had it for around six years and I still play it. If you want a slightly silly, unique RPG/RTS game then Baldur's Gate is probably your best choice.

Okay guys, I got a question. Would it count as advertising to make a thread about this game which includes a review and stuffs? I love this game, it's free, I want to see what the Escapists think about it, but I won't want to piss the mods off.

Eschalon: Book I [http://basiliskgames.com/book1.htm] is an old-school rpg (and with old-school I don't mean Fallout 1 old-school but Ultima old-school) independently developed by Baslilisk Games in 2007. It has a free demo so try it!

I still think Geist was a really fun game to play with some friends. The single player may have been.....sub-par, but I really enjoyed the multiplayer. But I'm the only person I know that actually owns a copy of the game.
I own one. Haven't really played it much, but the possession mechanic was awesome.
