Does anyone out there in the great Escapist land, know how to bypass this issue.
I really want to play KotOR before The Old Republic (sans Knights) comes out, but it apparently has some deep seated hatred of 7.
Helps?

Right-click on the game's executable file, click the compatibility tab, and switch to windows xp compatibility mode.

This should work. The only programs I've been unable to run natively in 7 to date have been 16 bit programs -- and that's only because I'm running 64 bit. KOTOR is very much not a 16 bit program, so whether you have 32 or 64 bit windows, it's shouldn't too much of a problem. If you have 64 bit windows 7, but you have a 32 bit version of Windows lying around, it's not too hard to set up a virtual machine running an older version of windows for the occasional ancient program.
