I'm embarrassed to admit that the idea of the cinematography the Matrix pioneered appearing in 3D actually sounds kind of interesting.

It would be interesting to see but the cost of getting 100+ 3D cameras gathered round in a semi circle for a 2 second shot may be a bit prohibitive.

I think more Animatrix stuff would be the best road to go down. Except have it shown on the big screen this time. That way the story can go pre Matrix No.1 or show us what happens afterwards to The Matrix and The real world. I am sure there are plenty of animation companies who would jump at the chance, personally I would like the guys that did FF Advent Children to do the Anime, though definitely not the scripts.

the trilogy turned out pretty bad as a whole. I still can't stand watching the second one. 1 and 3 i can watch those all day XD

For me, the first one was amazing, the second was barely watchable, and the third made me wish I was getting a prostate exam.

the reason i like 3 is simply because i saw it on IMAX and the scene where they spoke with the Merovingian in the dark room and all you can see was his wife's cleavage XD ROOM SIZE BREASTS! XD

that and the robot fighting was fantastic on IMAX

Whilst I enjoyed the first Matrix movie, I disliked 2 and 3. If this is rumour is true, I think I will pass on seeing them.

I can't tell if this movie idea would have been awful or terrible, but I do know that the world is safer as long as this rumor remains untrue.

I really have to hope that this falls through. I didn't even enjoy the action in the other Matrix sequels, and the plot...we don't go there anymore.
