Video Game? Wow, so he's an idiot, greedy, and hypocrite.
Greedy? Explain please, idiot? I dont think so just not a good politician but then again he served two terms, hypocrite? Explain.
Isn't he involved in the court case to censor games? Seems kinda silly for him to have a game under his own brand if he opposes violent "material". As for the idiot and greedy, this is a fucking dumb idea for a franchise. All the inside jokes about Arnold don't have much comedy staying power. Charlie Sheen tried to use all his jokes and sayings to start a comedy tour. He was met with instant failure and angry fans wanting refunds. As for the greedy, he is clearly doing this as a cash grab. People haven't wanted to see him in films and television for years. He is an aging out of shape action star, and he was never much of an actor. I'm aware he has a fan base, but if he really thinks he's able to launch multiple franchises he is a greedy fool.
Well, I have mixed opinions on the subject. Done correctly this could be fairly amusing. Arnie as Ex Machina (well sort of) pretty much. I don't think the idea is intended to be taken seriously, and a lot of it comes down to how well it's actually written in practice.
I'm reminded of Stan Lee's attempts to do Pam Anderson as a super heroine in another comedic/tongue-in-cheek cartoon show/franchise called "Stripperella" which didn't go over too well.
Otherwise, yes Governor Schwartzneggar is the guy who "pulled the trigger" on the legislation currently before the supreme court. You are quite correct that what he is doing is hypocritical, especially given the video game tie-ins of various movies he has been in. He's the guy who pretty much made Predator a franchise, and movies like "Eraser" among others also saw video game treatments.
That said, he has been known to turn out a fairly decent product, and if they are putting his name on this, I'm guessing it will have some redeeming features to it. Of course the kind of self-satire here strikes me as being vaguely similar to "The Last Action Hero" which was not one of his better received movies.
