So basically I have to opportunity to improve my already pretty great computer and I was just after some help as to what to upgrade and how. Obviously the main goal is to create a computer better suited for gaming which hopefully wont get outdated fast.

This is the information I could get from the "system information" program but if theses anything elsethat might be useful I can find it.

So yeh, any help other PC gamers can offer?

This isn't exactly the kind of information we need.

Also make a list of uses , how long you want it to last , what resolution you will be playing at and games you will be playing.

Yeah we'd really need to know your GPU, motherboard and power supply before being able to make any recommendations.

However given that's a pre-built it's likely that you'll need a better GPU. A GTX 560ti 448 core is a good buy at around £170~ and is about the minimum I'd go for. I've just bought a 7850 which is another step up and I was fed up of waiting for the new midrange Geforce.

You'd need to be sure your power supply would be able to handle that though, it'd need to be something like a minimum of 500w.

Rumour has it that the mid range Geforces are 6 months away. It sounds 100% bullshit but this was from the guy from overclockers who was right when he revealed the 670 release date so it could be true.

*7850 brofist*

I'm loving mine. The fact I can essentially max out Crysis 2 at 1080P Dx11 high-res textures is just amazing. Needs a pretty hefty overclock to reach that (I think mine is 1250Mhz) but the fact it can do that for £190-200 is fantastic.
I can believe that delay with the yield issues everyone seems to be having. I've spent most of my time trying to get everything set up again so not really tried anything other than the ARMA II benchmark which had some strange artefacts. Have you had anything similar?
