I plan to play games like Saints Row 2, Painkiller, GTA IV and Last Remnant.

I hate to break it to you, but Saints Row 2 and GTAIV are incredibly iffy ports, you need an incredible PC to run them at a decent framerate on higher settings, and I'm talking blowing $400 on a grasphics card alone here.

Well then replace them with The Sims 3, Final Fantasy XI, Infamous and that one game thats like gta meets spiderman... its a guy who kills people then becomes them... some weird name.

infamous is PS3 exclusive. Prototype is the one you are thinking of when you're talking about GTAIV meets Spiderman

The biggest thing about hard drives to worry about, that they're likely to actually tell you, is rotation speed. Like the number of "X" on a DVD/BluRay drive, rotation speed is a measure of how fast it can spin while being read. 7200RPM is considered the standard nowadays, but you can get higher. There's also some controversy as to which brand is wonderful and which makes piles of crap masquerading as electronics; I'd say it doesn't matter if they're both popular enough to stay in the top five, but ... well, witness how big Hewlett-Packard is.

Also seconding the two-drives-with-RAID suggestion, as long as you're going as high as a terabyte.

Yeah, I forgot Infamous was the ps3 exclusive. I knew it was an exclusive, I just forgot what for. Silly bad memory of mine. Yeah, I want to get Prototype..
