Naturally they nearly all seem to repeat the same bullshit he has been peddling since his first term, or find someway to give himself a pat on the back. Examples include as how the 2020 election was the most corrupt election in US history on Biden's, how Trump terminated the Iran Nuclear Deal and Paris Climate Accords on Obama's, and his 2016 election victory over Hillary Clinton on Bill Clinton's.
Like many outside observers, I am wondering why Republicans are letting him get away with this. Then I remember that the politicians are brown noising him so much that they are practically wearing him, and the voters couldn't give a shit so long as people they hate are suffering more or just brush it off as Trump being Trump.

They knew he was a bullshitting, petty, vindictive *****, and this sort of thing was baked into their vote. Half the Republicans support it, and the other half hold their noses and tolerate it. It's the same with the corruption, the authoritarianism, etc. If they had a real problem with any of it then they wouldn't have voted for it in the first place, but it's a price they're happy to pay to have their guy running the show.
Oh, he'll eventually be replaced by a different flavor of awful - he's an old man, he can't have that many years to go. The real questions are if he'll try to ignore the term limit and whether the new flavor of awful is awful red classic, awful blue, or awful MAGA.
