After acquiring an Android phone a couple of months ago, I've found a couple of really useful apps that I couldn't live without. However, I have the feeling that there are probably loads more out there that would be useful, and that other people are also in the same position as me. So let's share the apps we find really useful, what they do, and why they're so useful.
My Data Manager - constantly runs in the background, keeping track of how much wifi/roaming data you've used. It's really easy to see, as it's in the notification area.
Dropbox - it's really useful to be able to sync files between all computers you have. This app takes the hassle out of uploading photos to my computer.
Prey - tracking software that can be used to locate your phone when stolen. It's really easy to use and works with computers as well.
WiFiKeyboard - it lets you control your phone with your computer's keyboard, through wireless. It's so much easier than typing.
