On topic, mine was the result of of an argument in Geometry class that resulted in an awesome drawing and an even more awesome story.

My name expect x > ks.

A bit embarassing actually, a little like l337ing up my name. I guess I thought I'd bring my name a step closer to it's English version back then.

i thought of it when i was like 8, i wanted a completely unique name so i pulled both 'zeeky' and 'santos' from random things i had seen on the internet. needless to say, it worked. no one on the internet has the same name as me now.
Zeeky Bomb? (zeekyboogydoog)

Anyway, mine is just a cool noun and a cool adjective put together. Much like my former one that is now my brother's (Roman Slayer).

We also have a "guest account" on our Xbox's called Boneballs. Thought up by a friend of mine, he aspires to be a comedian.

Hercule Poirot is Agatha Christie's famed detective
I love her novels so I borrowed the name.

Random is my nickname because... well I really don't know why, but the Jah-Love part from a Rastafarian concept involving the love of god. Kinda like the holy ghost. Anyway, I'm not a Rastafarian, I mostly just thought it sounded kewl.

^If you scroll down to some headlines, I have an entire explanation on the birth of my username, starting from "Vanguard: The Term".

Edit:
Short version for those who can't handle walls of text;

Vanguard: NOUN: 1. The foremost position in an army or fleet advancing into battle. 2a. The foremost or leading position in a trend or movement. b. Those occupying a foremost position. ETYMOLOGY: Middle English vandgard, from avaunt garde, from Old French : avaunt, before (from Latin abante; see advance) + garde, guard (from garder, to guard; see guard). American Heritage Dictionary.

A vanguard is the forward element of an advancing military Tactical formation. Wikipedia.

You have the taste most excellent, mon ami(e)! =)

My name comes from similar origins, but substitute 'expressions used by Bertie Wooster' for Hercule Poirot and 'P. G. Wodehouse' for Agatha Christie.

Most of my usernames involve dark elves. Product of really liking them (and their kickass +5 weapons) in the old Curse of the Azure Bonds CRPG. And the Neutral thing is just a D&D alignment.
