Hello everyone.
As Im currently pondering where or to whom to adress the matter, I thought starting here might be a good idea, seeing as there are plenty of persons from the US and the rest o the world present to share some ideas, experiances or simple advice.
Now, last month I made a deal with a friend in the US, concerning a PSP and an imported game. Thats a bit of a longer story that would bore you all tod eath, so let us skip this matter and get to the point. After some back and forth, the package was send over, from Westcoast USA to its destination in germany.
Perhaps being a cheapass was a bad move on his side, as trusting the thing to USPS instead of a competent service was clearly a bad idea. He said that he was told delivery would take 6-10 days. What sounded reasonable to my ears.
Now a month passed and nothing happened. So I got curious what might have happened to my shipment. Asking my friend for a tracking number, it took a while and several attempts later he told he he doesnt have a tracking numberm but a recipe that prooves he sends it over. After giving me a scan of said recipe, the tracking number being "all proud and thick in big numbers on the top of the receipe"... *eyeroll*
So Im off to use the tracking number on USPS homepage oon the tracking and Confirmation service.
And I get to see this:
What is this now? What happens in vegas stays in vegas now counts for mail, too?
So naturally, I went to the customer support to bust some shit up, asking what the hell is taking them so long.
At when I receive this answer:
Uhm.. okay. Someone explain this to me now. I am told to ask my localpostal service because they cannot tell me what is going to happen with a shipment that has not even left the fucking desert?
So, what do you suggest now? Im a bit clueless as what to do now.
