Vacation Dilemma

O.K. so I was planing on doing a three week drama camp over the summer, however my step-mom planed her vacation during the last week of my camp would would leave me unable to attend the camp. I talked with my dad and he said if I were to do the camp we would not got on vacation. We were planing to go to Disney World. I myself did not want to go to Disney World but my younger brother did and he would not be able to if I did the camp. So I'm torn between chosing between a family trip to Disney Wolrd or my drama camp. Please help!

If you are very serious about your art and plan on making a career out of it, then you will probably want to attend the camp as opposed to the theme park. Disney World isn't going anywhere, it will be there next year. If drama is merely an extra-curricular in your life or you are going for social reasons, then you will probably want to spend some quality time with your family.

Then that also depends on how much time you actually want to spend with your family and the kind of relationship that you have with them. If it were my family, I would tell them to go screw themselves and go do something enriching on my own, but then again, that's my family, not yours.

Is there no way you can go to the camp and your family can go on the holiday?

That seems like the best result, since you're not too bothered about going.
