Ok now I know what the first thing is your mind is, "WTF is a vague trailer?", so allow me to give you a perfect example:

Alright so if you watched the video you saw that buildup and probably LoLed at the end at how asinine it was, the stupidity of this movie aside, let me explain why this is a "vague trailer", alright you see the build-up with the monument turning blue and that the reveal at the end, but this trailer doesn't actually tell me anything about the movie in question. It just kinda drops 5 seconds of footage and a title card, It fails to tell me anything about the plot or characters, it's has smurfs in new york, that's it, no actual footage, all it does is tell us that smurfs are in New York (why hell they could cut out the part with the actual smurfs and I'd know that much)! So here's a question to you Escapists out there do you know a vague trailer, and if you do what is it for?
