Valentines day Problems

Basically im rubbish with words
Me and this girl got really really close
then i kinda messed things up a couple nights ago
i need a really sweet poem or something i can put in a card
explaining : that i miss her, i want her, i actually adore her, she has actually made the last 3 months of my life amazing

I am assuming we are just supposed to list our problems.

I like this girl a lot, she feels the same way, but with where her life is and her level of stress she no way in hell wants a relationship now or anything in the near future. Which is very unfortunate because that's the only thing I am interested in.

So we are kind of in this limbo and it doesn't look like it will be changing anytime soon.

OP: There are some amazing love poems written by people much more inclined to that sort of thing all over the internet. You could try to find one.

OK so my crush became public knowledge some time ago, including to my crush herself. To annoy me, my friends decided to abuse the Valentine's Day delivery service the school was offering and send her loads of stuff "from me". For this reason I decided not to send her anything, partly because it would be creepy and partly because it would get lost amongst my mates' "gifts". I told her of their plan and she said she was fine with it. The plan failed. Hooray!

No. I talked to her that evening and she seemed slightly disappointed not to have received anything, but I didn't mention Valentine's specifically for fear of being creepy. She's in Wales with her grandparents for the next few days, and I said "I'll miss you" which she duly went and ignored.
I find out shortly afterwards from her friend, who I'm fairly certain was telling the truth, that she may have been anticipating a gift from me. And, of course, she didn't get one. And now she's in Wales for a few days so I can't offer my Valentine's greetings to her. :/

Yesterday I wrote a rubbish song, listened to pretty much every single proper song I have, watched some Red Dwarf, played many different games and talked to many different people, but it was all in a desperate bid to force this problem away, to try and get over my latest screw-up.

A girl I've liked since...(ever?) is going out with this guy, which I don't have a problem with as we've already established nothing will ever happen between us, but now a friend of mine is being really flirty with her to make me jealous, and she's doing the same back, but I don't know if she is doing it intentionally. It makes me ache inside when she shouts across the room "I love you" to one of my friends, when she's going out with someone else, but I like her so much I end up seeing past that. I want her to say that to me, nobody else.

I have a whole list of other problems, but you don't care.

Tomtom, let me tell you alittle bit about gals. They like to play games. If this girls interested, and it seems from her friend that she is, then she is playing one of the most annoying game for us guys to figure out.

Since we usually think that the girl is showing disinterest or finds us clingy or whatever the case, but we generally back off. Anyways, shes trying to push you away to see if you'll try and pursue her anyways. She probably likes you, and you should probably pull the trigger, especially since everyone seems to know you like her... including her. Just ask her out already if you wait too long you've lost your chance.

Buddy, i think you are out of luck man. This girls clearly not interested from the sounds of it and you're only going to make yourself feel like crap and get depressed. I've had similar experiences back in highschool and my biggest regret isnt that i didnt get the girl but that i didnt get over her. Looking back i realised i should have been doing then what i do now and just move from an uninterest woman to one that is interested.

She might be the prettiest, sweetest thing, but hey man, theres tons of girls just as good looking and cool out there. Trust me.

You'd be surprised by how the simplest explanation/sentiment can be the best one sometimes...

You'd be surprised by how the simplest explanation/sentiment can be the best one sometimes...

Personally, I wouldn't go for a poem, cause they're a bit cheesy and not spontaneous enough to be truly from the heart. Just get a card and write in it how you feel about her, rather than making it rhyme and evoke nature. Something honest and heartfelt will have more effect on her than a carefully constructed poem. Well it should if she isn't shallow anyway, I don't know her so I shouldn't speculate.

You'll do fine, and should have gone to Tesco they're only £6
