Valve can't count to 3!

Old maybe even redundant but something Google can not satisfy. Why are their no 3's in valve creations?

The pyro is number 3 and he is the only one without his intro video. Their is no Portal 3 or Hl3 and here's a link with other stuff valve didn't make a 3 out of: http://nerdapproved.com/gaming/valve-cant-count-to-three-image/

Is their a reason for this? Or a myth because I couldn't even find that!

So can people explain why this is and while were at it what's up with HL3? Any news about that?

On topic, I am glad they are not milking every penny out of their franchises. Would rather have a company that guarantees quality and releases very few titles like Valve or Blizz than the EA/Capcom approach of riding them till they go dry.

Valve was shit-in-their-pants scared of making Half-Life 2 after the success of the first game, so they must be suffering from panic attacks and PTSD trying to make the next chapter. Especially after their "episodic" model failed.

I thought the original plan was that the episodes were supposed to, all together, be Half-Life 3? Even so, they can't even get around to bring those past 2.

Am I the only person who counts CZ as an actual improvement to CS? The extra AI made it fun, the maps were better done (And not fucking dust) and the little campaigny thingie was pretty fun, more so when you got into building your own mini-campaigns. (Also, Bots, because fuck people)

The only reason why I shook my head at CSS was because it didn't have any of these improvements. The maps looked sub-par, probably to keep the polycount as low as possible. (Which I have nothing against.) And Dust. More fucking Dust. In CZ, you got something other than Dist Aztec and Office... Now it's just Dust, fucking Office, and Aztec died down, but still overplayed.

Jesus, that office doesn't even make any sense!!

But CSS's bots were really well done. So I still downloaded it.

Im fairly certain that Valve can count to 3, im just thinking that they feel they cant make a game that will live up to fans expectations in the case of HL3.

But maybe Valve is just alergic to the actual number 3? Numerous people have already pointed out that some of their titles have 3rd and even 4th games in their series, just without the actual number 3 tacked onto it.

As for Portal 3, yeah, you're jumping the gun on that one a bit. Give it some time, I think I've already heard rumors that they intend to make it. Buuuuuuuuut that's what the said about Half Life 3.
