Valve likes Cardiacs?

Yesterday, my older brother made me curious about Valve's relationship with Cardiacs, a 70/80's progressive psychedelic rock band. The reason for this was that he showed me one of their songs, Is This The Life? that is suspiciously similar to Vortal Combat from Half-Life 2 (etc). So here you are, what do you think?
