How the hell do people get scamed on steam trade!

Stupidity is VERY underrated.

Just the other day a guy made a post about how he was banned for trying to trade in-game items for Steam games, and that nowhere was it stated that you couldn't do that.

I'm guessing you mean "Steam game Keys" or something. You CAN trade for Steam game gifts, though the FAQ does warn that Steam Keys can't be traded.

Plus there's the old "Trade me your items and then I'll gift you the game" scam as well.

So "we're not going to refund it because it'll cost us money"? Got it Valve, you should of just gone with the "it gets abused up the ass". Valve's PR department must be going through suicide Tuesday.
