Sounds cool, I would think a samurai would be a possiblility, maybe with a cross bow or something like that and a katana for his melee. Makes sense to me. Though I agree its most likely the civilian.

The Random button, as a real class. You randomly switch between classes in battle. Not very realistic, but it sure would be funny.
That or Gordon Freeman.

If I had to take a real guess, I'd probably go for Valve wanting to make everyone look like idiots by having them all freaking out over what the tenth class will be. I know that's what I'd do if I ever get the chance.

I third this. It would follow that they bring back the VIP mode, although presumably the Civilian will have some convoluted way of defending himself/being defended..

I've heard that Payload is Valve's take on Escort mode, because they didn't think people would want to be the VIP.

Also i agree with others about the sentry being the 10th figure; it makes sense, because to add a 10th class would be difficult given balancing issues.

Gordon Freeman: Completely indestructible, able to use any weapon. But never quite completes the intended objective.

in the article about team fortress 2's ongoing popularity, valve said they're soon going to release an all new and very different game mode. this would make me think the civillian would be coming back, as VIP mode is very different. but i hope its something else, maybe a defense class that works more as a defense only class; and is actually fun to play. the engineer is so boring, and the demoman and the heavy both work just as well as offensive characters, and you cant help wanting to go on the offense in most maps. maybe a guy who can teleport to multiple points that he picks, and has a very short range weapon. People were saying up above it might be a ninja. maybe throwing stars?

Huh. The only kind of class they don't have yet is some sort of "assault rifle" class. Which would be a bit boring when you think about it.

Maybe it's just a ploy by Valve to get the internet speculating about TF2 some more.

Edit: Chocobites = Sugary cereal, Sugar = Energy, Energy = Speed. Perhaps Chocobites will be a speed boosting item for the scout?

I realy wouldn't doubt that, Scouts just got a new bat so i wouldn't doubt that they'll be getting new goodies in the future

The 10th class everyone is getting excited about is just the sandvich! Check VALVe's trailers, one of the trailers was a special "Meet the Sandvich" proving that the 10th class is just the Sandvich. The tasty, mouthwatering Sandvich! The Sentry Gun counts as a building or weapon, I can't remember which, both I guess!

What a STUPID idea. Valve doesn't need to make a 10th class, and we don't need a 10th class either. Tf2 has the perfect amount of classes, a 10th class would completely fuck everything up.
