Never heard of Being Human, but I'd be okay with being a vampire. I'll take my old World of Darkness vamps, though.

What? You mean ghosts don't do this?

Vampire I guess, because I don't particularly like people and don't get much sunlight anyways lol.

Maybe werewolves are just incredibly dense and heavy when in human form?

That combined with psychological strength governing would explain the superhuman ability without having full on werewolf power that is present in many media.

As for the OP: Do werewolves live forever?

vampire, then ghost, then werewolf. the werewolf seems to have the least beneficial powers, a ghost is super lonely and i wouldn't be able to live with that, and vampires are just badass. although i would dislike sunlight, i could bear it i guess, and so long as i manage my condition it would be awesome

*Werewolf. I'm really sorry, but it aggrivates me when people spell it wrong. Must be an English Literature Student thing.

Anyway, if my username didn't immediatly give it away, I'd probably be a werewolf. Although I'd probably end up trying to find a way to keep my mind during the transformation.

I would have to go with ghost, sounds like fun to mess with people and not being seen. Vampires are kinda overrated now, and as much as I hate the sun I don't know if I can run for cover every time the sun shows its head. Werewolves? If I'm caught as one I don't think I'd enjoy being a pin cushion for science or looked at in a zoo.

Great series thought, I love it.

I have no idea where warewolves get the super human feral strength from, lol, but it's fantasy lore, so anything is possible :p And no, they don't live forever, you have a normal human lifespan. The reason for that is that Vampires are technically dead considering thier hearts stop beating when bitten which is why they are immortal, they usually remain cold and pale like a corpse for the rest of thier lives, but that sounds like a less attractive deal, so I left that out, lol. Warewolves would be dead if they were mauled and killed, but they've had a lucky escape, usually a bite or scratch is enough to infect a human. They aren't dead, they just have an illness to say...an illness that turns them into a feral bloodthirsty wolf...nothing a pop to the chemist won't fix :D

Vampire, because in this form you can do almost everything and use all your powers anytime you want. And about a girlfriend well you can always turn her to the vampires.

First of all, glad to see a fellow Being Human fan around here, it's one of my favourite shows that's on at the moment (the others being Primeval, Hustle, and Skins).

Second, out of those choices, I'd have to go with vampire. Mitchell managed to avoid his blood lust for a fairly long time, after all. If I simply train myself to go for criminals and other evil people when I do end up succumbing to the blood lust, as Herrick kind of encouraged Mitchell to do back in season one (remember Herrick? I do...), then it makes up for the bad stuff. If I avoid trains and people named Daisy then I should be okay.

Plus, if it means hot vampire sex with the likes of Lauren, also from season one, then it's all good... dammit I was so pissed off when they killed Lauren off, she was easily one of my favourite characters, and bloody fit to boot (no pun intended :p).

Well, if this is Being Human, then vampires. The vampires in that show are too awesome for their own good. That said, I prefer werewolves in general. Being a ghost just sounds depressing.

Being Human is awesome, used to be filmed around these parts too (which is also the only good thing about Skins (recent episode apparently had our town lido in it! Seriously, nothing happens in this shithole)).

The werewolf that you offer kinda sucks, but it'd likely be the easiest to deal with - lock yourself up until you have your mind back.

Vampire would prolly be alright, assuming you can find a source of blood that wouldn't draw attention.

If it was World of Darkness werewolf (change @ will and keep your mind) oh hell yeah I'd go that way.

Fuck your thermodynamics, magic, mass-defying werewolves all the way.

...Does it have to be *opposite* sex irresistible-ness? 'Cause... ew. Bah. I still say vampire. Immortality, full control over my powers, and the ability to actually interact with/affect things? Yes, please.

If I see so much as a single sparkle I'm staking myself, though.

I don't think there is a strict law on opposite sex irresistableness, so feel free to attract whomsoever you please, as long as it is a human. I don't think it works on animals and I don't think there are many people on here who like animals in that way anyway :D

Hmmmm. It's a toss up between Vampire and Werewolf. I'd have to go with werewolf because I've had such fun role-playing them, which is not to say that I haven't had the same amount of fun role-playing a vampire. Maybe it's not having to avoid daylight. I wouldn't mind too much, it's just nice to have the option.

Also, why do ghosts have no feelings?

So, after looking at Being Human the series I came up with this (recommended by the way, awesome show), which would you rather be:

Vampire: Eternal life but always craving for blood, also a hatred of sunlight, no more sunny days for you. Irresistable to the opposite sex humans, but your thirst may just lead you to kill them and we all know with advanced technology these days, you don't want all those dead corpses leading back to you, especially since you'll be doing a lot of biting. Animals in general hate you, because you are technically a zombie :D

Warewolf: Full moon transformation with profound amount of power, but the transformation is a pain unlike anything you've ever experienced, you have no conscious state when you transform so who knows who you'll kill or what you'd do. Irresistable sex appeal like vampires to opposite sex humans. Don't get caught out though on full moon deadline, if you should find yourself in a jail cell or such during the crunch time, don't be suprised if you wake up in a cage, zoo or science lab, heck not wake up at all, you've been shot dead. Oh, did I mention you are hated by cats, feared by dogs and loved by wolves.

Ghost: Again, eternal life and you can make living people's lives a living hell, however, you're forever lonely and stalked by the afterlife to move on towards the light and pass on. You are emotionless, you never feel pain, but then you never feel happiness either. You can make an appearance, but not in a usual human form, its usually the hollow terrifying form that scares people away from thier homes etc. Chances are children and animals will somehow see you, anyone else doesn't, unless you haunt them of course. You can't interact without haunting, so unless they like the paranormal and have weegee boards, you can forget about it.
I watch being human too, it pretty awesome. Have you heard of Becoming Human?
And if I had to pick, I'd choose ghost, probably.

Because emotions are for people who are alive :D Although, it could be argued that you exist with the feeling you died with, which means, if you died angrily or sorrowful, you'd remain that way in ghost form, mostly likely that way too, because if you died happy, you wouldn't be hanging about, you would have passed on. So heres a choice, eternal bitterness or no emotions at all :D

So are Vampires. Okay, it's a different kind of dead, but they're both still "undead". So why should one get all the feelings and experiences while the other gets to be the one that is obviously supposed to be the unequivocal villainous ones.
