the humans turned to the teens
"So seems like we're a lucky bunch of raiders we are, we can sell you for a lot of money,
the old man ain't strong enough for slave work but he might be good for something else"
the raider looked closley at eric
"why do you look like that any way Yur all pale and yur pupils are hugethat and I swear i can see two fangs poking oout of yur mouth."
Michael spoke. "Care to find out what they're used for?"
Eric and Robert chuckled a little. The raiders gave them a disgusted look. The leader spoke again. "You have two choices. You may either come with us alive and submissive, or dead, and obviously submissive."
Michael couldn't help but smile. "Guys? Shall we?"
The two nodded.
In a flash of light, the raiders had been reduced to chunks. The three sheathed their swords and examined the remains of the raiders' bodies for interesting spoils. They made light conversation as they did.
Eric said, "It's amazing how slow these creatures are. Either I'm delusional, or they couldn't detect our movements."
Robert offered, "I have a feeling you're not delusional. Perhaps they're more of an intellectual species, not particularly quick, but capable of brilliance given enough time."
Michael said, "Ooo! Look what I found!"
The others looked. Michael held a sword with a curved blade, a handle wrapped in cloth, and a single cutting edge. "If I remember some of our history classes correctly, this is a katana."
He fingered his rapier for a bit.
"I think I like this new sword better." He then spoke theatrically, "Beware, fiends, for the magnificent Michael now has a new sword, and it is indeed good."
The other two started to giggle.
"Do not laugh at me."
They stopped giggling. And starting laughing.
"Assholes."
Eric and Robert gathered themselves. Michael then said, "So, have you found anything interesting in your pile of man bits?"
