Has anyone beat Vanquish on hard difficulty? If so how was it?

Get ready to die a lot.
Just remember not to treat the game like a cover based shooter, but if you start losing health, get behind some cover. Whether it be behind enemy lines or in friendly areas, just get some cover.
Also enjoy God Hard mode if you finish it.

Yeah, I played it on hard. It kicked my ass. But being destroyed by a game doesn't make it less fun for me, it's just a challenge to overcome. There were two fights in particular that took me for-ev-er to beat (one where you fight a couple of those mechs that change forms. There's a warrior form and a tiger-like form. They stay on top of you relentlessly. The other fight was the final boss).
I found the game very fun. It's very cheesy as well, but still a good game.

Death is a regular thing, but its definately a fun experience.

I somehow did the first 5 after loads of trial an error, but the last one ripped me to shreds.Sean Hollyman said:
I did it on hard mode. It really kicks your ass in some areas and several fights end up taking a lot longer than they did before. But it doesn't make the game any less fun
I played it through on hard mode and found it a decent challenge. The mode above that however, master difficulty or whatever its called? Yeah, I tried that and couldn't beat the first level. That shits hard and I'm the kind of guy who plays Ninja Gaiden on master.
