I'm replacing my Droid Eris later this month and I've narrowed it down to two phones: the Droid X2 and the Droid Incredible 2. Now from what I heard, they both are very similar to the original phones they are based off of, but I've never used them so I don't have much to go on. I'm kind of leaning more toward the X2, because I hear it has better battery life and a better screen. If anyone knows more about these two phones I would appreciate it if you could respond.

Short answer: They're actually very similar. The X2 is heavier, but thinner. It has a better processor, but less RAM. It lacks the extra forward camera the Incredible 2 has, but has an HDMI port which the incredible lacks. Other than that, everything seems slightly in favour of the X2. Slightly bigger screen, slightly better resolution...

You'll be happy with both phones, really. The X2 is better for watching movies, but other than that, I don't know of anything you would want to do with the phone that wouldn't work beautifully on either of them.

Long answer:

(I have an Incredible 1, and I like it, just in case you're wondering)

Personally i would stay far away from Droid Phones on Verizon, as Motorola has shown that once a phone is released, they will very rarely, if at all, be updated. Coming Soon, does not count. Updates have been "coming soon" for months. If you are set on Android Get the X2, as it is the best out of the nonsense.
