depends, when sandbox games have both gta: sa and just cause 2 on the list, with the former stealing more then 100 hours of my life and the latter being so crap I stopped after 30 minutes...
I'll go with linear, so I wont get bored with killing random people on the street...

futuristic and medieval setting?
