Alright Escapists: If you could choose any two game developers, pit their characters/factions against each other in the style of your choice (2/3D fighting, FPS, RTS, etc.)...

what gaming monstrosity would you create?

I'd like to see a grudge game FPS of Valve vs. Infinity Ward.

My brother wants a Blizzard vs. Square Enix.

I can't think of a straight-up VS type game off the top of my head that I'd like to see done, but I'd definitely love to see the folks at Nintendo team up with Bungie for a Metroid/Halo crossover. A 2D side-scrolling exploration/platforming/action adventure with the choice to play as the nimble, quick Samus or the heavy, powerful Master Chief. Samus can explore areas that are harder to reach, but Chief's got a wider variety of weapons and the ability to blaze through areas that require heavier firepower.

A guy can dream, I guess.

Not really, since the game doesn't have to be a fighting game, and can only include characters from the developers represented. MUGEN, I would imagine, is like the Garrysmod of fighting games.

Well MUGEN will let you add anyone, but yeah I suppose it'd be a little more like Gary's mod, lol. Also, I think I'd pick Snake vs Sam Fisher, just so everyone would know that Snake would win
