Im glad Mythic makes people jump through hoops to get the demo. First off, its not that big a deal to jump through the hoops: MMos tend to absorb a large amount of your life, so its not unreasonable to put a little effort to try something that will end up sucking many of your hours. I will admit that only allowing a few countries is pretty weak. However, sign onto Warhammer. Look around a bit, check the chat box, wait around for a while, and you will notice something: There is not a lot of gold spam. In something like WoW, companies can make trial account after trial account, advertise with bots, and not care if there banned, cause they can just make another. But with Warhammer, when I rarely do see a spammer, and I report them, I can smile to myself knowing that the gold spammers are about to waste $50 on a banned account. I love going to there site, and seeing how many thousands of accounts have been banned for being gold spammers.

yeah, and they dealt with that pretty fast too. I remember the first month there were a crap load of spammers, but after that, their numbers really declined. I only ever, maybe, get one or two gold offers in my mail box per week. I think that's pretty good, considering
