Hi all,

I started one post a while back and got some good ideas but now I have developed a new craving.

I would like something that is supremely fun and violent to play on my PC. Something that is preferably NOT horror/zombie themed and more specifically NOT MULTIPLAYER. Have played Manhunt and while it was fun it required the right mood. I want lots of blood, bangs and bullets, adrenaline pumping action, storyline a plus but not totally necessary.

Preemptive thanks

Haven't tried it myself, but from what i've heard Postal might be the game you're looking for

Fallout 3? It will be a little slow if you want lots of explosions, but after you get the Bloody Mess perk...

Edit -

Supremely fun?
Saints Row 2.
Absurd comedy abounds.

Why buy a video game?

I could recreate all the violence for you.
Ahh, goat.
That is why I haven't killed you.
That, and the minefield around your house I'm still working on mapping out.

For an old game Kingpin is quite fun for smacking a few peeps about. For more recent games I would recomend Postal 2 (its quite old now I suppose but it still makes me giggle every time I use a cat for a silencer on my shotgun), Deadspace (a bit short but not too shoddy whilst it lasts), Fallout 3 (slow but exploding heads in bullet time are allways good)or either of the fear games.

Wow I done that a while ago, I'm working on the laser security grid inside his house
I was gonna use kittens to clear that.
Another good game would be...
The Chronicles of Riddick. It's dark, funny in places, and the combat is gorgeously brutal.

I used snakes as they can see and avoid and i should probably follow them but its the higher up ones im worried about
I just wanted to walk in and see kitty chunks. I'm a simple guy.
And the people saying Fallout 3 are also right on the money. Mods make it even more fun!

Crysis, sure It has multiplayer, but it's relatively weak. As everyone should know, it has gorgeous graphics (if your computer can handle it), nice gameplay, and a level editor full of potential.

I found a pretty cool Half-Life 2 mod called Minerva. Picture Gordon Freeman teaming up with GlaDOS. I just started it, and it's looking pretty good. I'm not sure if the inclusion of headcrab stalkers counts as zombie themed survival horror. If it does, I apologize. Anyway, the price of that one is free.

In terms of more violent games, did you check out Zeno Clash? It's a first person melee brawler that's gotten a fair bit of praise. I have a friend who thinks it pretty good.
