Video Card Help?

(First off, I'm new and don't know if this is the right place to put this, but it seemed like the right place. If not, please point me in the right direction.)

If anyone would help...
How could I go upon installing a 128mb video card onto a Dell Inspiron 8500?
Well, any compatible video card that could handle Team Fortress 2? (DirectX® 8.1 level Graphics Card (Requires support for SSE))

Well...that kinda sucks.

But (and I should have included this in the first post), I'm really just trying to get the computer to run TF2. Is there anything you could suggest?
