I have a small confession. I love having game boxes. It's not the fact the art is good, or I especially liked the game, and while that's true in some cases, I mainly just love the novelty. I like looking at a collection on the shelf, with all the names listed vertically, the clashing of all the different greys, reds, blacks. I like them so much that sometimes when I buy a game I really liked digitally and feel like playing though again, I buy it again on console just to have its name on the shelf.

So does anyone else like collecting game boxes? Do you have a particular favorite (I don't really)? Or do I just bring great amounts of shame to society?

I liked them more when they had something inside them other than a disc and a slip of paper, and where the box wasn't artificially expanded by a shit load of cardboard on the inside.

But yes - I still like them too.

Why wouldn't you love them? I like stacking them. Not in alphabetical order.

Bioshock limited edition tin case.

Pure sex.
That is a rather fornication inducing case.

I agree with this. Why would they take away instruction manuals? They don't cost that much, I'm sure, and sometimes it made the box feel like a book.
