I think Twisted Metal sucks and that Vigilante 8 needs to be rebooted.
Also that Kane & Lynch 2 was a great game.

Never played Psychonauts, I dislike Fallout 3 and Oblivion very overrated IMO, still haven't finished Bioshock 1, I own a Wii (broken though and I shall be selling the components soon). I have never played Deus Ex, I bought the Wii and actively defended it until I bought my 360 and cried to the gaming gods for my sins.

I have only owned 1 star wars game and that was for the N64, Blinx is awesome, I haven't played Braid, I liked Army of Two and Banjo Kazooie nuts and bolts sucks ass.

I played through MW2 campaign 5 times and I absolutely love it. Also I can't wait for MW3 just because of the campaign. I guess no one can absolve me of my sins, right?

I loved the campaign as well you're not a mutant.
OT: I loved sonic unleashed and i don't finish 90 percent of my games

I think the first Jak and Daxter is horrendously overrated, I HATED red dead redemption AND GTAIV, I despise most comic book characters and absolutely hate most games made from them, including arkham asylum, and the first Assassins creed is one of the best games I've ever played at the time I played it.

-I despise basically everything ever made by Nintendo

-PC gaming is dead, but at it's peak (1998 to 2001-ish) it was way better than console gaming has EVER been

-Star Wars and Star Trek, in spite of their geek and cultural significance (and a COUPLE of decent Star Wars games and a couple of Star Trek movies), are pretty much terrible all around

-In spite of the above, I actually LIKE Star Trek: The Motion Picture. What's more, I like it BECAUSE of the 20 minutes of flying through blue clouds because the music was great, the whole scenario was fascinating and because the characters had less god-awful diologue

-Half-Life one is overrated

-I preferred Watchmen as a movie, even though I read it first

I have never played any version of The Sims or sequels.

I do not like Fallout 3.

Sim Tower was better than Sim City 4.

Anything nintendo, sucks to me. its all remakes. Maybe its because i grew up on sonic and street fighter but i hate mario, zelda, metriod, and whatever other rehash they have out there.

the half-life games were no good, i tried to like them each time a new one came out, but i couldn't... they're just average shooters.

Hate FPSs, with a few exceptions.
Prefer consoles to PC.
HATE Halo.
Hate hate hate hate hate hate HATE HATE CoD.
Hate Gears of War.
Hate people who call themselves hardcore gamers when all they play is the above 3.
Love Nintendo and think the Wii is a decent console.
Dislike mods/modding.
Only play hard mode on games that are worth playing twice.

I love gears of War so much I've been reading the books based off the game. They are really good. Any fans of gears of war should buy them and read them.

I'm a bit of a Squaresoft fanboy, and tend to talk about the company in "pre enix" and "post enix" times, as in good/bad. This is not a rule that's really true in any sense, there were horrible games before and after the merger, but I'm such a nostalgic ***** about this shit.

Also I think FF7 and 10 are horribly overrated and that FFIX is the best JRPG ever.

This thread's sole purpose is to admit anything that would cause the average nerd to rage.

For example, I did not care for the N64. It was an okay console, sure, but the library of games for the system was small and not very impressive. You did have great support from Nintendo and Rare, but everywhere else, most developers opted for other platforms. I didn't even care for many or the big two's games. Most of them I liked, but more than a few games seemed vastly overrated to me (Goldeneye, LoZ: OoT, and Diddy Kong Racing to name a few). It's not even that I lack nostalgia. In fact, the N64 was my first console ever and my first game ever was Super Mario 64 (a great game mind you). I just never saw it as more than an alright console. Not saying it's bad, just saying that despite some innovations it's nothing spectacular in my eyes.

Now it's your turn.

I hate Halo, CoD, Guitar Hero, Mario Kart...

Pretty much anything that's a mainstream piece of crap

Halo and CoD are "okay" not "god" if I want that I'll get Painkiller, and The Orange Box and save myself $80

Guitar Hero? just get FoF, and come on people, THERE'S NOTHING CHALLENGING ABOUT LISTENING TO MUSIC WHILE FOLLOWING A LONG ROLLING COLORFUL INSTRUCTION SHEET FOR IDIOTS! (I 5 starred TtFaF in GH3 after having the game 1 week)

Mario Kart isn't about racing, it's about staying in second until you can red shell who's in first, it's too slow, and if you want a GOOD racer by NINTENDO, then get off your fat mario obsessed butt and go buy an F-Zero game!

Hmmm, it seems that this thread is on the verge of being a hate thread, MUST RE-RAIL!

I never beat LoZ OoT, I got to the final boss of the shadow temple (last one for me), kept losing, and just kind of stopped. This was when I was 5, and i don't want to finish it now, i feel that would be treading on sacred ground.

Cheer up, you got almost as far as me, I got halfway through the temple before Ganondorf then I just stopped playing for some reason I can't remember.

My great confession is that I like Sonic Adventure and Sonic Adventure 2: Battle. I also want to try Sonic The Hedgehog for the 360 because I believe it's not as bad as people say.

Even though I was for Nentideo during the console war between Sega, I thought Sega games were better.

I'm seriously considering buying an EA game tomorrow. It's reduced, but still, it's EA. We're not on good terms, but maybe this should change?

If it is on PC I would agree to avoid. Since they come with some bad things. Though the Console you tend to avoid most of those problems. Though with EA they seem to be chaning. They relised they were dicks, and trying to not be said dicks. Years ago it use to be that Activision was the good guys and EA the bad guys. These days it looks as though the roles have been reversed.
