I didn't like Oblivion, but did like F03 and FO:NV
Never played any Half-life game and probably never will.

Nerd rage? Anime and JRPGs are the worst creation in the world and need to be purged. It's a plague on creative media as a whole.

I don't like counter strike at all.

I was about to defend counter-strike (I do love me some zombie-horde mods), but then I saw your avatar and ... and I just ... I can't.

Okay I lied (see I can't even lie properly), I really just wanted to point out how adorable your avatar is.

OT: I don't enjoy CoD that much. I dislike online Halo. I'm culturally depraved (I love games, but all those classics like Neverwinter Nights, or Ocarina of Time. Yeah, those ones, I've never played them). I don't even seem to buy games that are more modern (yet still loved as a general rule of culture) like Bioshock, or Fallout, or Oblivion, or I dunno, what games do kids my age play nowadays?

I don't care for Oblivion. I thought it was boring as hell and the level up system was very strange. Plus all characters have that Bethesda quality, with the ugly fat faces and the ramrod stiff dialogue.

I totally agree with you on this.
The only reason i bought it is because half of my friends urged me to buy everyday, so i did played up to the end of the sewers and i shut the damn game off.

I hate zelda games, HATE THEM, I think they are absolute shit on a crumbling roll, They have got to be the laziest games ever created as far as story goes and they have BARELY changed since the original.

OT: I preferred Minish cap over the original LoZ. And I admit that EA sports did make one good game... before EA Sports BIG went under (Freekstyle)

I played Oblivion for 10 minutes before leaving it. Haven't picked it up since.
CoD is meh.
Half-Life is Meh.
Have never played any MGS game.
Never finished a pokedex and have only played 1 pokemon game.

I've only put about ten minutes into Oblivion, and I've had it for a few months. The combat feels clunky and the graphics look muddy for a 2006 game. The only thing I might check out for is the guild aspect, which sounds kind of neat.

Hmmm... it sounds like you need to play Morrowind...

I have heard nice things about it. As a matter of fact, there is an "evaluation essay" (critical review) written on it in my college English textbook! XD

Seriously though, it sounds just right for you. The combat is simplistic (OK, it's terrible, but at least it's easy), and the sidequests/guilds are much more detailed.

Alas, I am but a console peasant -__-;

Well I got scared of sheegoths in Metroid Prime not too many years ago, like SCARED so i couldnt fight them.
And I threw a hissy-fit at the end of Lost Planet when Isenberg killed the everloving shizno out of me for HOURS!!!
and every level of Halo 2 on legendary made me one infuriated Son-of-a-*****!!!!!!!!!!!

I honestly DESPISE PC gaming, I try to be accepting of it, and could care less if someone enjoyed it, more power to them... But It is so ANNOYING for me, "Woops, can't play that game, I should buy a new graphics card! Woops, my computer can't handle that card! I should go out and spend hundreds of dollars on more hardware! Alright, now I have all my hardware, now how the hell do I use this? Better spend a ton of time looking it up on the internet!"

Yeah, I agree. That can be a total pain in the ass. I'm having something of a honeymoon with my new PC now, so I feel like I can just play all the best games forever, but I have no clue what the lifespan of a given build is these days. Then again, if it lasts me 5 years, then it's money well-spent. Also upgrading a PC isn't too bad compared to having to buy a whole new one.

My main 'gaming experience' comes from Youtube.
I HATE THE PLATFORM MARIO SERIES.
I love JRPGs, rage against them all you want.

I borrowed RE4 from a friend, and couldn't get past the first town before I was completely frustrated with the controls.

Gave it back and borrowed PoP: Warrior Within instead, and I loved it so much I played through it twice.

My favorite Final Fantasy is X.
I liked Final Fantasy: Spirits Within.
If a game gets too difficult, I chicken out. I'm a wimp. Difficult being it takes me over thirty tries, then twenty to forty after checking out the guidebook.
I've never beaten a game without a guidebook.

It's already been stated, but Perfect Dark truly was a better game than Goldeneye 007 in almost every way. I can't speak for the Goldeneye remake though, or Perfect Dark Zero.

I really enjoyed the Sega Saturn.

I absolutely hate role playing games. To me RPG only stands for one thing: rocket propelled grenade.

And now the big one:

I game on a Mac. I've already heard all the jokes so preemptively, fuck you. Please no hipster jokes I hate those people too.

I have never played a Final Fantasy game. Not once, not even for 5 minutes at a friend's house.

On the other hand I thought Golden Sun was pretty good back in the days before my gameboy had a fat kid jump up and down on it (true story).

The real reason why I started to hate Halo is because my cousin was a pompous ass who always bragged about having it. I never really wanted to play it anyway but he brought his XBOX over and took my TV up all day so I kind of hated it since. I did try to play it once but it just felt like an ok game, but I still find it overrated.

I mean the game. It got positive reviews, and I was psyched about getting it. And it is fun.

I never played Psychonauts, any of the God of War games, Ico or Shadow Of The Colossus.

Aside from the quick time events I didn't mind Wet.

Also, I've played Dragon Age probably 8 or 9 times through and I STILL can't manage to be fully evil.
