did you ever had a freaky dream based on a game?

once, i had this dream that was something like mirror's edge. i was the main protagonist and i was hanging out with friends i didn't know. then we started jumping from building to building to show of my roof-jumping skills, then we went to a place and did...something. i think we were going to steal something. then we went to watch the dark knight, and then all of a sudden it started to look like infamous. i'm not making this up.

and just last night i had a scary ninja gaiden dream.

Not totally game related but every time I have a nightmare, the really big kind that makes you sweat, my mind goes into self defense mechanism and attempts to end the dream. How? By pressing the reset button on a Sega Saturn.

Works every time.

After a marathon Worms World Party session with a bunch of mates I had strange visions invoving Holy Hand Grenades and Concrete Donkeys... That was a weird dream.

I used to do that a lot when I went through a period of MMORPG addiction. and once when I played a game called puzzle pirates for 3 months straight I saw the bilging puzzle whenever I shut my eyes...complete with music/sound affects.

At the moment I've been having a lot of dreams in which I'm gaming and I know I am at the time. but then I become the character in the usually online multi player game, and start doing things in real life in the game e.g talking to a friend/family member but I'm still in the game and the game character..but I still sort of know that I'm playing using a controller the but its realise also. my eyes usually burst open at this point and I find myself in a very odd position in a bed with half the pillows on the floor. and having mental bed hair.

When I was 12 I got stuck in ff7 and stayed in the junk yard part where you fight the stupid rocket firing houses for about 8 hours. I kept on seeing the game every time i closed my eyes.

Whenever I have a dream that's scary,I know it's a dream and usually say something involving leaving or screw this, and I wake up. Weird.

Actually just a few days ago I had a dream where I was jumping rooftops in the fashion of Assassin's Creed, only wearing my favorite gray hoodie and trench coat in lieu of Altair's trademark white hood/robes. I'm also told you're not supposed to feel pain in dreams, but my subconscious begs to disagree. Not a good thing when videogame dreams are almost normal for me, complete with a grisly and painful death for a slight hesitation or misjudgment. I don't wake up screaming or anything, I just regenerate somehow, and find myself standing where I died trying to figure out what to do next.

One time I dreamt that Earth was being taken over by these bug-like things that were a combination of the locust from GoW and the bugs from Starship Troopers. Long story short (REALLY long story, this was one of those all-night dreams), Captain Anderson from Mass Effect sends me and another team of people into a ruined mall where the bug queen had set up shop, we fire-bomb the hell out of it, and Earth is saved.

A little bit later in the dream, I'm standing in front of the Whitehouse (me being the only one to make it out alive), and Anderson (the new President) is giving me a medal and a speech. It's going along the lines of how awesome I am, and he's wrapping it up with...

Anderson: "We need more people like Will, we need strong people, we need good leaders, we need French toast and bacon!"

WTF!?!

You know when in a dream, somebody is saying something, but then their voice changes to somebody else's right when that person wakes you up? Well, Mom decided that was the morning to do some cooking, and she decided to wake me up right when it was getting to the good part. The French toast and bacon almost made up for it.

Once I had a sweet dream after playing Postal 2 for about 10 hours, but I won't talk about it...

A long time ago (I must have been like, 6 or something) I had a nightmare about Wave Race 64 (true story).

In the dream, I was riding on my little wave bike, then all of the sudden a shark or a whale or something started chasing me. I was suddenly eaten, and then all I remember is waking up in a cold sweat.

I believe this dream is somehow related to my fear of murky water... but that's a story for another day.

I was once fighting Sephiroth in Nibelheim while it was still burning, when I woke up I thought the dreamed kicked all kinds of arse so I wrote down what I could remember. I also had a dream where I almost made it with Ayane from DOA, the friggen alarm clock messed that up for me. That's about all.

I had a combo dream between Pokemon and 28 days later. You can imagine how freaky that got.
