This thread was inspired by something that seriously just happened to me right now.
I was playing Deathspank and I had just one single quest left to do. It was the one from the ghost lady btw. So I defeated all the ghosts, thought I was done, then talked to her. But then she said that last time did not go well and she's gonna recast the ghosts?! Right after the dialogue got finished it said "quest complete!", and then it froze. FFFFFFFFUUUUUUUU----
That's right, the game thinks I ran away, which I didn't, then reinitiated the combat but I won the quest before I even beat any monsters! So the game just crashes. And no, reloaded my (single) save doesn't fix it. Oh I can still walk around and stuff, but I can't finish that ONE FINAL QUEST, so here I am, having this game 99% complete, forever.
So on the topic, what would be your gaming hell? Oh, and for those who were gonna post Tetris Hell, you got ninja'd by the OP.
