Video Game "Promotions"

So, we all know about the weird promotions Dante's Inferno did before the game was released, right? Lust and Wrath, and all? Well, apparently a cupcake place in my city was either asked to or decided to do a promotion for Dante's Inferno-- they made up a batch of "Dante's Inferno" cupcakes: red velvet with toasted marshmallow topping.

Now, I have no idea whether that was an official promotion or anything, but what are the oddest video game promotions (official or not) you've seen around?

The Halo 3 Mountain Dew was certainly an odd one.

But I think it reflected the game perfectly. Not exactly what we wanted, but we can live with it.
