video game renaming

for some games I think that a different name might be better for example "final" fantasy 7 can be renamed to: Mystic Adventure: Clouds Quest (with the name in the same vein as the Castlevania series) post idea,s or responses

And I would pick FF of Mystic Adventures.

Indeed, since we got used to it due to the relentless torrent of FF games, we have the name burned into our brains.

It's the same with the Mario franchise, put a turn in a box, put a sticker with mario on it and people will buy it!

But for a game that has no media attention whatsoever, I believe it would be bright to think of a name that is close to a name of a grand franchise.

No, it's just that Metal Gear Solid 4 had some of the longest in the series. I think it's over nine hours worth in total.

Though there probably is some selective memory loss. People need to save room for things that make the slightest bit of sense.
