but as for shadow of the Colossus... what would be the point? think about it, it would get razed for being exactly the same as the first, I think that S.O.C. should just fade away in glory
(And I love that game, so you can't raze me for being a braindead X-box owner)
Not just because it deserves another chance at getting things right, but because it had the worst cliffhanger in history. This thing was worse than Halo 2.
Credits roll, music plays, etc. After the credits, there is actually another level. You show up to an alien version of the United Nations to prove that their pride and joy, the Seekers, aren't benevolent at all, but are out to exterminate humanity. The council gets all shocked, and a significant character that died earlier because you all couldn't get off the ship (you decide between your fiancee and your brother) shows up. They are all god-mode and stuff, being this big angelic thing and claiming all sorts of nonsense. Anyhows, you fight them, beat them, and then get teleported away in the resulting energy cascade or whatever they decided to call it.
You get teleported to a big icy mesa, and get control of your character back from a cutscene. You limp around for a while, slowly losing health, until you collapse. This triggers another cutscene in which another alien of a race unseen until this point shows up and helps you away, saying that this is just the beginning and that there is much to be done. Keep in mind that you just ruffled the feathers of pretty much every alien government, and still have an entire Seeker army out to kill humanity.
I agree. I don't know why Dark Sector's getting so much flak. It was undeserving of the 2 of 5 Xplay gave it, not that it was exactly 5 material either.
Crackdown
The Darkness
KOTOR 2
Jet Set Radio Future
Fire Warrior
all good games (in my opinion) which deserve a sequel (except KOTOR 2 i just want another KOTOR) Not really needed but games i would like to see a sequel to anyways.

I remember they said that they were working on the second and third games, since it was supposed to be this big deal trilogy, and the PSP was supposed to get that spinoff Advent Shadow that was supposed to show the space pirate (wasn't she a space pirate?) girl's side of everything. But the first game dropped, it was fairly awesome, and then all the sequel talk just poofed.
Anyway, games that need sequels.
Parasite Eve. First two were awesome, needs a next generation update.
Azure Dreams. Only dungeon crawler I really ever liked. Had a psuedo-sequel for the DS called Tao and the Mystical Who Gives a Crap. No seriously, can't think of the name off the top of my head, but I know that they pretty much gutted everything that made the first game so replayable, the random dungeons and such, and made it...well...bad.
Another Aliens vs. Predator game wouldn't be too bad for the 360 or PS3. Those games had some pretty cool multiplayer, each race had their own unique playstyle, and I think it'd be awesome to make a new one, only maybe drop in some Battlefield-esque style multiplayer aspects, you know, capturing spawn points and whatnot, bigger maps, and some flipping vehicles.
I think another James Bond game would be nice.
as long as it wasn't based on Casino Royale which as a Bond fan has ruined the series
why did they think it was a good idea to take away all of his gadgets and sophistication and replace it with wrecklessness and lust?
